Two motorbike enthusiasts are undertaking a grueling rally to raise money for charity.
Kevin Camilleri and Perry Newton will take part in the Transanatolia Rally in Turkey on August 31. The seven-day race starts and finishes in Antalya, crossing the Taurus Mountains into Cappadocia during the course of its 2,500km route of challenging terrain.
The duo from a Maltese affiliate resort of The Registry Collection, raised money for the Malta Community Chest Fund, UNICEF and Cancer Research UK last year when they were the first Maltese team entrants in the Dakar Rally.
This time Newton and Camilleri will be riding to raise funds for Help for Heroes and the Malta Community Chest Fund. The charities support British servicemen and women wounded in wars since September 2001 and a range of institutions and individuals in Malta respectively.
The duo have the support of Maltese president George Abela who will officially wish them good luck at a Press Call the week before the event, which itself is expected to attract widespread media attention.
The pair are now looking to individuals and businesses to support their charitable effort through sponsorship and donations, with the opportunity to benefit from media coverage in local and international media.
Suggested sponsorship tiers for businesses include:
- €250 company branding and logos on the duo’s tee shirts
- €500 branding and logos on their tee shirts, front of suit and social media platforms
- €1,000 branding and logos on their tee shirts, front and back of race suit and trousers, social media platforms, website and mentions in all press events held in Malta and Turkey.
Individual sponsorships are also very welcome. If you want to make a donation to these charities through sponsorship, please contact Grazielle Camilleri at [email protected]
