Timeshare – is it good value? [VIDEO]

Does timeshare represent good value for money?

In the second of our series of educational videos we explore the costs involved to see how it compares with traditional holidays.

We’ve teamed up with resales company Worldwide Timeshare Hypermarket and our partners at consumer association TATOC to bring you this eye-opening series, first shown on the Travel Channel.

Here the Travel Channel takes a like for like comparison of the costs involved in family package holidays as oppose shared ownership holidays, while TATOC’s executive chairman Harry Taylor explains about his experiences of holidaying in timeshare and the costs involved.

See below for the next timeshare video in the series…

Keep an eye out for more in the series. And don’t forget to see our consumer guides for more information about shared ownership. It includes a number of guides explaining what fractional ownership is, how  TATOC works to help inform and protect consumers, how to spot a holiday club, how new legislation is protecting shared ownership buyers and how to make the resale market work for you.

Have questions about shared ownership or do you want to make checks on a company that’s been in contact with you?

Get in touch with TATOC by telephoning their helpline on 0845 2302430. Their advisers are there to give you free, impartial advice.
