There are some for whom private jets and stays at The Ritz are everyday, but for everyone else luxury travel is something to save for. But luxury travel needn’t be expensive and that’s where our new luxury book comes in. We’re really excited to announce the publication of The Luxury Traveler’s Handbook. We penned our luxury book around the principles that underline LiveShareTravel, and the ones we travel by. The Luxury Traveler’s Handbook aims to liberate luxury travel for smart travellers – that means people like you. After all, most of us like a little luxury on our travels, but can’t or don’t want to pay the Earth for it.
The Luxury Traveler’s Handbook will show you how to get more style for less on every trip
After years of travelling the world, enjoying luxury travels on an average income and achieving great savings at the same time, we felt it was time to put all our tips and tricks into one luxury book and share our knowledge with you. The Luxury Traveler’s Handbook covers everything from defining your sense of luxury travel, to finding ways to liberate luxury in your trips. It has 12-point plans to help you plan your trip with information on agents, DIY-packaging, flash sales and loyalty programmes. It identifies the standards you can expect on your trips, how you can travel in luxury and still have a real experience, how to travel in style and safely, and even what to wear when you’re away. Added to that our luxury book includes a number of sparkly new stories to inspire your travels and get you in the mood. Luxury shouldn’t be reserved solely for that once-in-a-lifetime dream holiday, and The Luxury Traveler’s Handbook will show you how to get more style for less on every trip. We want to help you can travel more, farther and for less.
A luxury book with more Ls
Some of you reading this, British people in particular, will note that The Luxury Traveler’s Handbook is missing something. Yes, we only have one L in Traveler’s. This isn’t a mistake. We haven’t left the UK and gone all Yankee Doodle Dandy on you. This is the US edition of our book. But great news! We will have a UK edition with extra Ls, extra Us and words spelled with an S rather than a Z. The UK edition, The Luxury Traveller’s Handbook, will be published in November. Alongside the differences in spelling, this edition of our luxury book also has UK-specific information such as consumer rights around DIY-packaging.
But wait, there’s more travel book goodness
Luxury travellers don’t just venture around the world to travel in style (that said we do like a good boutique hotel break). We travel because we love travelling and want to see the world. And this is the beauty of The Luxury Traveler’s Handbook – it’s part of a great new series of travel books that relate to how you like to see the world. The Traveler’s Handbooks are published by Full Flight Press, a collective of independent travel writers and publishers, all expert voices in their mode of travel. And we’re excited, delighted and proud to be a part of it. All books are available in paperback ($16.99 or £12.99) and on your favourite e-reader (Kindle, iBooks, Nook, Kobo – you name it, $9.99 or £7.99) from Amazon, Waterstones and Chapters. Our luxury book is part of The Traveler’s Handbook series – a brand new collection of books (currently five, but there will be more coming in 2013!) that focus on not just where you travel to, but how and why you do so in the first place. The other books are on sale now, but our luxury book will go on sale on Wednesday, October 10, 2012.
